Read about three badass ladies and the silly alpha males who think they can manage them. Each book is a standalone novella. Scrooge McFuck Piper Stone’s hunky, rude, entitled, Scrooge of a boss is pushing her buttons every day, but he’s taken it too far, this time. Saying she couldn’t take the holidays off was one thing; preventing her to go home to her sick child? Not happening. She has zero regrets when she resigns. Bennet McFinnley can’t believe his annoyingly perfect personal assistant has actually resigned from her cushy, highly paid position, and he intends to tell her exactly what he thinks about it. But when he gets to her place, he comes to realize he might not know Piper as well as he thought he had. Bring on the Psychobitch Lucy is a perfectly reasonable person, up until she isn’t. She bottles up incidents, willing to forgive and forget, but when someone crosses the line, she becomes what her friends have affectionately called The Psychobitch. There’s one person who has it coming; from their very first meeting, Trick Johnson, CFO of Harris Toys, has been a contemptuous ass to her, but she held her tongue… Until her boss asks her to work with him for a month. Trick has a huge problem. He has a life plan – a simple, straightforward plan – and the gorgeous ball-buster his best friend employs isn’t part of it in any way, shape or form. He’s managed to keep her out of sight and mostly out of mind quite successfully… Until Carter Harris makes them work together. Them Back Dimples Cali believed she was done with men - after what the last one has done to her, she has zero reasons to want to open her heart or her legs ever again. Then he happened. Wren Richards, genius with a scalpel in his hands, charming when holding a flute of champagne, is a mess outside of the public eye, and he knows it. He’s quite happy living in chaos, but when his friends ask him to take on a cute young woman who needs a break as a housekeeper, he takes the plunge. Everything should be alright - as long as he remembers to wear pants when she’s around.

Quick steamy reads. They're just too little, too short for me. There just isn't enough time to fully develop these characters. The endings all feel rushed and unfinished and there are way too many man whore MMCs for my liking :(

Great Stories that could use some polishing! First, I will say that I thoroughly enjoyed these stories but I do have gripes. I'll start off with something that matters to me as a black reader. The author is, from what I can see, a black woman but all of her characters are white. Cool. But the issue is, she voices them like black people and her descriptions of them, especially the female characters, are described like black women. It's jarring. But the issue is, she voices them like black people and her descriptions of them, especially the female characters, are described like black women. It's jarring. Especially since I'm born and raised in New York City, the average white person here looks nothing like these characters. Lol. Aside from that, here it is: -Lots of spelling errors, grammatical errors, a lack of knowledge is apparent in regards to how real New Yorkers talk, too much British speak like 'have you taken your jab' -The little girl Maya does not talk like any five year old is ever met and I work with children so...her speech was too unrealistic, also New York children don't talk like miniature aristocrats, there was no show popular in America named 'Maya the honey bee', -Brooklyn born guys who went from rags to riches would never address their mothers as 'mother', I know this because I'm from Brooklyn and actually know some people with this same background, -I liked Wren the best out of the male characters but I disliked how he casually touched a woman who was abused, I disliked how everyone was described as gorgeous 'real New Yorkers are more down to earth and rugged in looks', I couldn't stand the insta-attraction, or his random possessiveness over this woman, it was a bit too much ~All in all, I did like these stories despite my complaints but my complaints were enough that they threw me out of the story often and that's never a good thing when reading. If I have to put a book down for more than a couple days, it's because it's becoming a chore to finish it.

I just love this whole series. The author creates some very quick reads with great stories that are sweet, funny and hot at the same time. Here is my break down. Could there ever be a situation to arise which will open Piper's eyes and show her Ben may be the guy for her? I really enjoyed this story! Psyhcobitch A very well written, fast moving read. Lucy has her dream job and is an assistant to Carter Harris, the CEO of Harris toys. She is horrified one day to hear her high school crush dismiss her talents, just due to the way she looks. Patrick, who was nick-named Trick in school, is the CFO of the company. He consistently ignores her. That is until circumstances warrant that she act as Patrick's assistant for a time. Now is her time to show Patrick how capable she is. Patrick is rightfully impressed but also gets to see what type of person she is too. This book has a lot packed into a quick read. Them Back Dimples Dr. Wren Richards is extremely dedicated and making great progress as a surgeon. Through friends, he ends up letting Cali stay with him after she escapes an abusive relationship. In exchange for a place to stay, she insists on keeping his place clean. When Cali starts getting her life together will Wren be ready to let her go? Nice story with likable characters.

These three novellas were very well-written and entertaining. Scrooge McFuck - Piper is an executive assistant for a rude, entitled Scrooge of a boss who is also a hunk. One day Bennet pushes Piper too far and she walks out. He think she's kidding but when she does not return to work he heads to her place to tell her off. But then he realizes he doesn't know as much as he thought he did... Trick has a simple straightforward life plan and does not deviate - until his best friend makes him work with Lucy. Them Back Dimples - Cali was abused by her last boyfriend and doesn't trust men. Richard is a brilliant doctor, but his home is a mess. His friends ask him to take in Cali, who needs a break, as his housekeeper. Cali and Richard are completely adorable together and I loved reading their story. Each book can be read as a standalone story, though they are part of a series with related characters. I can't wait to read more books in this series!

Scrooge McFuck by May Sage is a fairly short read, a great choice for those with limited time for reading. Ms Sage has delivered a fast-paced read. Her characters and dialog are awesome. The editing could have been a little better though. Piper and Bennet's story is loaded with drama, smokin' hot sexy bits and laugh out loud humor. I loved all three of these books because of the humor and phenomenal characters. These books are 2-4 of the Some Girls Do It Series but can each be read as a standalone. They are all complete books, no cliff-hangers.

5 stars Scrooge mcfuck. Absolutely loved this story. Piper is so amazing and relatable. Ben is an ass but redeems himself and is actually pretty sweet, I kinda love him. I got the 1st book as a freebie thanks to the Red Feather Romance newsletter. Loved all the stories and the different character interactions. It seems all the stories take place around the same time frame as different events pop up in multiple books. Looking forward to reading more from May Sage. One tiny note I do have is the editing missed a few points but not a super huge thing. it's just when your in the zone you read it and it like a speed bump out of nowhere. An awesome set of heroines meeting men who matched them I have read May Sage's books since reading her fairy tale series, and I wasn't disappointed by this set. Even though the work was far different than what I have read before, I did not find the characters lacking in any way. All three of the Woman were competent in their own rights and it was fun reading now the men had to earn the privileges to be with them. Enjoyable but error ridden I did quite like the stories although the endings were all similar and it was chock full of grammatical errors and I even saw several errors of characters names in the wrong spots. I would check out the author again though because the books were quick reads but kept my attention.

Some of the funniest romances I've read in a long time. Sure, there's a lot of swearing but that only adds to the authenticity of the male POVs. Love May Sage and she's quickly becoming one of my favorite authors. Highly recommend! My Rating: 5 stars

Hot and funny I don't normally read short books (usually I find them too thin plot wise) but these were sexy, fun and since they all linked, kept me occupied for a good 2 hours. I'm sure I'll get around to reading any others by May!

So Good! I absolutely loved all of the stories in the Some Girls Do It Box Set! The characters were fun and the interactions between them were often laugh out loud moments. I found myself wanting the stories to continue. I'm hoping there are more upcoming in this series!

This series is like a bad joke. They are novella length, and I enjoy the stories but the editing gets worse with each one. It is beyond distracting and lowers the quality of what would have been a great read.

Short good reads I chose a five due to the story lines themselves. Each book was different which was refreshing. It was good to see the female characters be sassy and no non sense. The characters were entertaining as far as their interaction with each other.

Love this series. Great short stories tied into an overlying bigger connection between friends. I almost wish my friends were this fun and interesting. Great fast read and three HEA, sexy times are spot on and the humor is fantastic. Enjoy!

They're good short reads. They're good, short reads. The British words and phrases thrown in here and there made me wish she had just set the stories in London instead if New York .

Scrooge mcfuck-Loved this story , i read it as part of the some girls box set along with the next 2 books in the series, the only thing that i was dissapointed with was there was no epilogue as i would of liked to read how piper reacted to her christmas gifts lol

Good Book! I enjoyed this collection of books. The love stories were great. They were filled with just the right amount of angst and steamy love scenes. I found the characters very engaging. I can't wait to read more from May Sage.

Absolutely love this series!! This series is absolutely perfect!! I learning about Trick, Wren, Benetton and Lucy, Cali, and Piper my weekend (even though I’ve read it three other times 😍😍) I love the story of each woman and how the pay found their lover-man. I think Cali’s story was my favorite because she had the roughest life of the three (don’t get me wrong I love the other stories), but she still managed to turn it around and find her some sexy back dimples in the process!!

I liked all of these short stories, but Scrooge McFuck has to be my favorite. I mean come on, with a title like that, how could I not like it?! :) Lucy and Bennet are awesome together, once he ditches his Scrooge personality. I love how much she got under his skin and how she didn't even know it. And then when he realized just how much he had misjudged her and set about making it up to her...SWOON! And Maya, that adorable, so adult little girl is just the absolute best part of Scrooge McFuck!

Needs Editing Pretty cookie cutter fare, no real twists or suspense, nothing outstanding about any of the characters and nothing to make me interested in anything further by this author. There were many, many instances where an editor would have been helpful as there were so many misused words that it yanked me out of the story every other paragraph (and since it was extremely difficult to get into the story to begin with, it was almost painful).

Very Entertaining Series I really enjoyed this series. The characters are interesting and the storylines are good. The writing is crisp and humorous. My biggest criticism is that if someone is not American and they are going to set their story and characters in NYC as native New Yorkers they need to get rid of the Queen's English slang/terminology! You need an American editor/beta reader! It really does distract from the reader immersing themselves in the story. Additionally all the Very Entertaining Series I really enjoyed this series. I am hoping the author will be adding to this universe.
